About Me

If you don’t already know me, my name is Jaedyn Bond, and I am a seventeen-year-old Scouts BSA Life Scout and high school senior in the female Scout Troop 219 on RAF Lakenheath. I am passionate about psychology and mental health, and I hope to become a counselor one day. As a Life Scout, I am currently working on completing one of the last requirements necessary before I can earn my Eagle Rank.

For a bit of background about Eagle, as copied from the official Eagle Scout Project Workbook, “Service to others is an important part of the Scout Oath: “... to help other people at all times.” Each year tens of thousands of Scouts strive to achieve the coveted Eagle Scout rank by applying character, citizenship, and Scouting values in their daily lives. One of the rank requirements is to plan, develop, and give leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, school, or community. Through this requirement, Scouts practice what they have learned and gain valuable project management and leadership experience.”
