A Message From the Scoutmaster
Greetings!
I am the Scoutmaster of Scouts BSA Troop 219 based on RAF Lakenheath. We were established in February 2019 as one of the first female Troops for the Boy Scouts of America. You have probably seen my posts in the past offering deployed spouse yard work, doing a food drive, or running our current clothing drive. Our Scouts are very busy in the community!
During our less than two years of existence we have kayaked, backpacked, camped in three different countries, and have learned cooking, axe skills, fire building, first aid, and so, so much more. We have not taken a break during COVID; we have adapted and persevered on through it all.
I know people are still adjusting to thoughts of females being in the BSA, and earning the Eagle Scout rank. There has been lots of misinformation that has flourished online.

If you have any questions at all on how our program works, please ask. Our troop is for females between the ages of 11-17 years of age. You can message me on Facebook Messenger, fill out the contact form, or email me, whatever works.
